Meet the Maker

Chantel is a busy mom to 3 little people, and wife to the love of her life. 

When she is not working on creating, and designing for Cure Collective, she loves to cook, listen to music, and spend time in the Rocky Mountains. 

Chantel is passionate about people - and personal growth, and is most content when creating. 

Chantel experienced and overcame personal trauma in her life including domestic violence in her first marriage, and the loss of her mom in a traumatic event. 

Chantel is a big believer in women’s empowerment and the power of women’s collective voices lending strength to each other, especially with regards to surviving domestic violence, emotional trauma, and raising children as a single parent.

Although these experiences came with extreme heartbreak, and pain - immense gratitude, zest, and appreciation for life was gained. All of which put Chantel on the path to help others through women's empowerment initiatives, participating in support circles, volunteering with charitable organizations (Women on Wings Society, and Calgary Women’s Shelter), and the creation of Cure Collective.
